What is cloud dough?

Project STEM includes doing creative things all around. For example, cloud dough is a variety made of modelling clay that can be moulded and shaped many forms. It’s also enjoyable to play with! When you make your cloud dough, you can create anything from planets to stars.

How do I make my cloud dough?

To start, you only need some flour and water (or other liquid). You can use any baking powder or baking soda depending on what color your desired outcome will be—for example, red for blood; blue for the sky; green for grass; purple/blueish-greenish stuff that looks like smoke coming out slowly from the Earth’s atmosphere…the list goes on! Just mix equal parts of each ingredient into a bowl until it starts turning yellowish-brown in color before adding water slowly through the mixing process until the mixture becomes soft enough so that hands sink into it quickly when pressed down hard enough against the surface area covered by plastic wrap placed over the top cover container holding mass-produced product once completed creation process has begun.”

Designing a Solar System Model Using Scissors, Glue, Paper, and Cardboard

Cut out the planets with scissors. You can operate a ruler to measure the size of your cardboard, but it’s easier to start with a piece of paper and cut it in half.
